Application opens
- Apply using the TASIS Enrollment portal.
- Complete the TASIS online IB application form.
- Show good previous academic performance with a minimum US GPA of 2.5 or equivalent.
- Demonstrate an above average effort record with a minimum effort average of 3.5 on the TASIS scale of 1-5 or equivalent.
- Meet the appropriate math standard for the chosen IB math course, which may require math testing for new students.
- Meet the appropriate English standard for the chosen IB English course, such as satisfactory completion of the TASIS English Grammar, Composition & Literature 1 course or a CEFR B2 standard on a recognized English test like the CEPT, TOEFL, or IELTS.
- Receive approval from the Academic Dean, the IB Coordinator, and other faculty members where appropriate.
- Agree to abide by the IB General Regulations and agree to pay the IB registration and exam fees.
- Non-native speakers of English must complete an English proficiency test as part of their general application.
- Confirmation of final placement in IB Diploma Program subjects will take place after testing in classes at the beginning of the two-year program at TASIS.
