South Island School, part of the English Schools Foundation, is located in the semi-rural area of Deep Water Bay, Hong Kong. Recruitment process

- Step 1: Complete and submit the ESF online application (Year 12 entry) via the ESF Admissions portal (link: https://oas.esf.edu.hk/welcome/CA/KG) and pay the non-refundable application fee (HK$2,800).

- Step 2: Upload all required documents online: the child’s birth certificate, passport or HKID (and valid HK visa if applicable), parents’ passports/HKIDs, proof of Hong Kong address, a recent passport-size photo, and the student’s school reports/transcripts from the last two years.

- Step 3: ESF will review the application; if a place is available, the student will be invited to an interview or entrance assessment (e.g. an English test).

- Step 4: Attend the scheduled interview or assessment at South Island School as directed by the admissions team.

- Step 5: Await the admission decision: if approved, ESF/SIS will send an offer letter (otherwise the student remains on a waitlist).

- Step 6: If offered a place, confirm acceptance by paying the required deposit and associated fees by the given deadline.
