- Register online on the SHSID admissions portal and complete the application form
- Schedule an on-campus application appointment via the system and print out the Appointment Letter
- Submit required documents (originals and photocopies) in person: student and parent IDs/passports, previous school transcripts, medical form, etc.
- Attend entrance exams: written and oral tests in English, mathematics, and Chinese (additionally physics and chemistry for Grades 10–12)
- Pay the one-time application fee of ¥ 1,000 (non-refundable) on-site after document approval
- Receive an Admission Letter if accepted (notification by email/text)
- Finalize enrollment: meet with school officials to confirm courses, pay tuition and other fees, and complete enrollment paperwork
